Will the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover Fully Open on a 2026 Honda Ridgeline?

Question:

2026 Honda Ridgeline. Does anything restrict the truck lid from fully opening, such as rails, clamps, hardware, etc. when the tonneau is flipped open?

Hey Richard. There is nothing that restricts the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover item # BAK26602 from fully opening when it is installed on your 2026 Honda Ridgeline. It's got the ability to open all the way up to your rear glass like the picture shown below.

Additionally, you will also be able to access your tailgate with this cover open or closed.

You did not answer my question. You did not address the opening of the trunk lid. Is the trunk lid impeded by the rails to be 100% fully opened?

@Richard That's 100% my mistake. You will not believe what people call things. You actually meant trunk lid and the answer to your question is no. I checked with the manufacturer and the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover item # BAK26602 and it's installation hardware to do not block the trunk lid from opening on the 2026 Ridgeline. You will need to fold back 2-sections of the cover for the lid to fully open though.
