Question:
I currently have a Reese m5 fifth wheel hitch for a ram 2015 2500 with the factory installed hitch prep. So I have the pucks in the frame to into. I’m switching trucks to a 2026 ford f350 with the same system. Can I replace just the legs of the hitch with the ford ones and keep the mod section and top plate of the hitch. Thank you Vern

Hey Vern! You can replace the legs on your M5 to make it compatible with your 2026 F-350. All you need is the Replacement Legs for Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Super Duty # RP30923. These will turn it into the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Towing Prep Package # RP30921 so it fits your puck system.
Any big trips coming up with your 5th wheel once you get your new truck set up for towing?

Hey Vern, how did the swap to the new legs on your Reese M5 hitch go with your F-350’s puck system? Your update could make it easier for others moving their hitch between trucks.
