Will 1up USA Heavy Duty Bike Rack Be Able to Fold on 2024 Volvo XC90 Recharge With Draw-Tite Hitch

Question:
Hi there, I have a 1up USA heavy duty bike rack folding tray style and a 2024 Volvo XC90 recharge. Do you know if there is enough clearance for that particular bike rack to fit behind my Volvo when folded up in storage position with this tow hitch? Thanks!

Hi Jen; 1up USA shows 3-1/2" from the end of the receiver to the closest part of their rack when folded. Realistically, they should measure from the center of the hitch pin hole since receivers have different lengths.
That being said, the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole the edge of the bumper on the # 76194 is 2-1/2". This hitch has a fairly short receiver, and the end of the receiver is pretty much in line with the edge of the bumper, so I don't think you will have any issues folding up the rack with this hitch installed.
Do you plan on doing any towing or do you just need the hitch for the bike rack?
