What do I need with the BandW Patriot slider to mount to my 2024 Silverado 2500 with puck system?

The only way to get your B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs # BWRVK3270 to work with the factory pucks on your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 is to use the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # RP49FR. It is the only adapter that can be used with the Patriot slider.
The other option would be to upgrade to the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K # BWRVK3775. If I'm being honest, this is probably the way I would go. Yes, it will be more expensive than getting the adapter, but I prefer to not use adapters whenever possible. The Companion will go right into those pucks and I think will end up being more secure. B&W hitches are the best ones on the market, so I think you could sell your Patriot pretty quickly and easily. But that's my opinion.
