I have a dog and a cat that camp with us. Does the sound bother the dog and cat?

Hello Dewey, good question. The MouseBlocker PROx # MB34FR is designed to be safe for pets. The device does emit a high frequency sound and the consensus is that most pets are unbothered by the sound. That said, some pets are more sensitive to the sound than others. It is recommended to monitor your pets behavior when you first install the blocker. If they seem more distressed or nervous than usual, you should discontinue use.
