Question:
I’m trying to decide if the stainless ME63FR is worth the upgrade. Other than the frame, is anything else different from the regular ME43FR?

Expert Reply:
Hey Carl! Mechanically, they’re identical. The # ME63FR just swaps the powder-coated frame and handles for full stainless steel, which resists corrosion long-term, better than the # ME43FR. The gearbox, 70-lb hopper, and pneumatic tires are the same, but stainless saves you from rust and repainting after a few salty winters.
Do you store yours indoors or outside? If it stays in an unheated shed, stainless really earns its keep.
