Question:
I already have the Yakima crossbar setup for my 2005 Honda element. My question is can I still use the tower and bars for my 2013 Honda fit if I get the clips since I have a naked roof on my fit, or are they not conpadable?

Hey Spencer. Not sure which Yakima crossbars you have but all of the parts are different for those two vehicles so no you can not reuse the towers and I would not recommend reusing the crossbars either.
For example, the Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Kit for Naked Roofs item # Y69MB, that fits your 2013 Honda Fit, has a pair of 50" long crossbars.
The Yakima SkyLine Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points item # Y58SB, that fits a 2005 Honda Element, has a pair of 60" long crossbars. Crossbars aren't supposed to stick out farther than the rearview mirrors and adding 5" to either side is going to be pretty close to that if not over.
What Yakima roof rack crossbar setup do you have?
