120 Volt Winch Recommendation that is Not Loud

Question:

Im just curious but cant find anyinformation. I live in apartment i have a suspended bed that i made im currently using a vevor ac 120volt electric wench rated up to 2k lbs. it lowers and raises the bed and holds a constant of 200lbs and when im sleeping about 400 + if had a boyfriend an addtional 200 to 250 about 700lbs total or 1000 For iactivity? sure we will go with that. that said Is there a winch that can match the those limits and 120volt for wall outlet. and is QUITE obviously id like as quite as possible given its an apartment. Apartment is small so having the suspended bed allows me to have a living room in day bedroom at night.

Hey Cynthia, we have the Dutton Lainson Strongarm winch part # DL24965 that has a little more capacity than what you described needing and is designed for 120 volt power like you mentioned as well. I wouldn't describe this as a super quiet or super loud winch. If you fast forward to the 1:20 mark of the attached video below you can hear how loud the 12 volt version of this winch is. You can hear our review guy able to talk over the sound so it's not super loud at all. Is it that your current winch is super loud or does it seem louder since it's connected to the ceiling and it vibrates through and your neighbors hear it?

Have you been getting a lot of noise complaints related to the winch iactivities??
