Availability of Ladder Rack Compatible With Retrax XR on 2024 Ford Ranger

Question:
I have a 2024 Ford Ranger 4WD 4 door. I have a Retrac XR tonneau cover. Is there a rack that can carry a canoe will fit this bed? I had the side bed structural supports installed.

Hi John; the only ladder rack we carry that is compatible with the rails on your Retrax XR is the Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01151-5755. Yakima doesn't list this because the side rails from the factory aren't structural and able to support any kind of weight. I did reach out to check since you said you had the supports installed. They said you can install it but, if anything happens to the rack or truck Yakima won't cover it.
The only other ladder rack that I know of that might work is the TruXedo ladder rack, which we no longer carry. You might want to see if they approve it for use on your truck with the supports installed.
