Hi Amy!

I can definitely help you get everything you need to flat tow your 2017 Hyundai Accent SRT Sport Hatchback, but I do need to note that it must be a manual transmission model. The automatic options cannot be flat towed. With that in mind, I have a full set up below:

Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX2338
Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - Car Mount - 5,000 lbs # BX4330 (includes safety cables)
Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Way to 6-Way Coiled Adapter Cord # RM-15267

If you wanted the tow bars to install in a hitch instead of on a 2" ball, you could go with the etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox and Curt Base Plates - w/Safety Cables - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6K lbs # e47ZR instead. It is more expensive, but I think it's worth it.

The last part you will need is a breaking system. There are a few options for this and the following are my go to systems. The Blue Ox is a portable system and the two Demco systems are permanent set ups. I prefer permanent, but that's just my opinion.

Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System - Proportional # BLU37TR (will need 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332)
Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes - Proportional # SM99251
Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Air Brakes - Proportional # SM99243

What kind of RV will you be towing your Accent with?

Oh wow! I did not know that. Ok. That changes my line of thought altogether then since we have an automatic. What kind of set up would you recommend then? We will be twing with a 2000 Fleetwood Southwind Class A. Thank you for any assistance you can provide! We are open to all suggestions!

@Amy You may be able to use something like the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes - 4,250 lbs # RM-2050-1 since your Accent is front wheel drive, but I strongly suggest contacting a local Hyundai dealer to see what they say. I couldn't find anything in the owners manual. If they say you can use a dolly, I would also grab the etrailer Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box and RV Style Connector # e99011 to get it wired up. Junction boxes make wiring a lot easier. If they say no to dolly towing, you would have to get a trailer to get all 4 wheels off the ground.
