Question:

Will the Drawtite 1.25 hitch support 100 lbs of bikes on a Thule Epos 2 that weighs 38 lbs?

Hi Calvin!

The two Draw-Tite hitches for a 2014 Toyota Prius V ( # 24967 and # 24847) are Class 1 hitches, which means they are rated for 200 pounds of tongue weight. With the Thule Epos # TH99XE weighing 38 pounds and your bikes totaling 100 pounds, you will be within that capacity of either hitch, so you are good to go!

Out of curiosity, what kind of bikes will you be carrying?

@CalvinH People ask us for racks that have the Trek Verve bikes pretty often, but I haven't seen one of the Royal Dutch Gazelles before. That thing is pretty sweet! Belt drive is interesting as well. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
