Hey Chris, thanks for the information. We have two options to replace Trifecta 2.0 tonneau covers on your 2016 F-150 with a 6-1/2' bed. The difference in the two is the material of the cover, vinyl or canvas. I have listed the replacements below next to their corresponding tonneau covers:

Vinyl - Extang Trifecta 2.0 Soft Tonneau Cover item # EX92480 - Replacement Cover item # EX92480-20

Canvas - Extang Trifecta Signature 2.0 Soft Tonneau Cover item # EX94480 - Replacement Cover item # EX89GR

What happened to the old cover? - The straps that hold the cover open wore out and broke while hauling deck chairs home on the highway. My current cover now has a large rip down the center and 4 chair leg holes in it. That being said, I have a few more questions. Does the new cover come with new hold-open straps? Is the Vinyl option the most waterproof/resistant? Thanks, Chris

@ChrisS That sounds miserable. The covers do not include replacement straps. For those you'll need the Replacement Male Buckle and Strap for Extang Trifecta and Trifecta Signature Tonneau Covers item # EX54440400. The different covers are comparable when it comes to being water resistant. You'll need to go with whatever material you have now though as those tarps are specific to the Trifecta and Trifecta Signature tonneau covers.
