Hey Robert,

I do see that we have custom mounting brackets for that Detail KS Rampage Snowplow # K2RAMP8219. That part number is just the plow, but you pair it with the Custom Mounting Brackets # K284110 and that will get it to mount right up to your Jeep. They are custom fit so there will be no drilling required to install for you.

That is one of the cleanest 1983 Jeeps I have seen, did you restore it or was it well taken care of?

Hey Robert, Did the custom mounting brackets work out for your Jeep? I'm curious because it could help others looking to set up a plow on their Scrambler.

@NickS The plow is on and appears to be working great of course without snow. I am reversing the drop receiver to put the plow within an inch or two from the bumper eliminating the overhang

@RobertC Sweet! I am glad you were able to get something figured out, now all you need is some snow.

Nick I purchased this jeep after looking for over one year and it looked like the picture. From sitting for some time and being passed to a few owners without very many miles put on it there was the typical somewhat minor mechanical work to be done and it will need some minor paint work. thanks for getting back to me but since I could not find a plow hitch, I made my own. I have been in the auto-body business for over 60 some years. Just received my new meyers power angle plow today and wyll be installing it soon.

@RobertC That is awesome, and well kept. I have been looking some time myself for a older Jeep like that. Time will tell and the minor work is expected. I am glad you were able to make something work for your vehicle, and I hope that plow works well!
