Do Two Power Wires Run to the Dual Function Firestone Compressor Gauge
Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/09/2025 >
Question:
What are the 2 power wires connected too? I have seen where some forms show connect one to ground and one to the relay. I’ve seen others showing connected to a key on source and the relay. Can you help me out with this?

Hey Clay, are you referring to two power wires that run to the gauge of the part # F2188? If so, one is for powering the compressor that runs to the switch and the other is for powering a backlight in the gauge so that you can see what it is reading when it's darker and the headlights of the vehicle are on.
