Question:

Does the HR1400 support Step Through Frames, as well as Beach Cruiser bikes with fenders? I have two mountain bikes that Im not worried about, but Im having a difficult time locating a rake that can accommodate the step through and fender type types. If the HR1400 isnt able to do carry these bikes, can you recommend one that can without having to purchase any accessories, or add on tube adapter. Thank you

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider # HR1400Z will accept a step-through bike frame as long as the top frame tube above the pedals is no less than 18 inches from the ground to the top of the tube.

The Swagman XTC-4, # S64665, will fit if the measurement is no less than 12 inches.

The Saris Freedom # SA4414B would work since the cradles that hold the frame can rotate and grip the step-through frame at an angle. All 3 of these racks will also accommodate bikes with fenders. I have linked some videos on the XTC4 and Freedom for you.
