How to Mount Thule SUP Shuttle Paddleboard Carrier on 2020 Honda Civic and 2024 Hyundai Kona

I would like to purchase TH8 11XT, but I need to be able to put it on both a 2020 Honda Civic and a 2024 Hyundai Kona, neither car has any crossbars. Will this product work on both cars. Main question is do I need to have cross bars on my cars for this to work.

Hi Julie; the Thule SUP Shuttle Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with Tie-Downs # TH811XT does require crossbars to mount it. If you want an option you can mount on both vehicles so you don't have to have two different roof racks I recommend the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack # 298-SX6000B. This is universal so you can mount it on the roof of the Civic or Kona and remove it when you don't need to carry your paddleboard.
