Will DEF Tank Interfere With Installing Romik Running Boards On 2023 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax?

Question:
Can I use these with my 2023 Silverado 2500 crew cab with the DEF tank under the passenger side? I think I heard of people having trouble with steps or accessories hitting it in the past. maybe I was thinking of something else though.

James, that’s a smart thing to check. Romik designs their brackets to clear the DEF tank on HD Silverado models, no tank relocation needed. Just be sure you’re using the Romik part number matched specifically for the Crew Cab configuration, which is the # RMK99ER. We’ve had folks install these on plenty of diesels without a hiccup.

How do you like the Duramax? That should be able to pull just about anything short of a house.
