My steps will on retract when I turn off the power to the coach.

Hey Glenn, it sounds like something is wrong with the door switch of your RV retractable steps. Can you check out the door switch and see if there's anything wrong in that area that's obvious? If they are fine next would be to replace the control module but I would need to know what step model you have.
