I have a 2021 Ford F150 Lariat with the moon roof. I am looking for a roof rack that will give clearance for the moon roof to still open. I was able to achieve this with my 2014 F150, yet I am starting a new build and have yet to find a roof rack that accommodates the moon roof.

Hi Jessica!
I have an option I thing you will want to consider. The Rhino-Rack Sportz Roof Rack # RR43HG will sit right at 4-3/16" above your roof once installed and should allow your moon roof to open. However, we have not tested this and we always advise people to leave moon roofs closed with a roof rack and accessories installed, hence the "should". You will need to open your moon roof and take a measurement to see if this set up will work.
I saw you were looking at the Front Runner Slimsport Platform Rack # FR49ZJ, but I can't say this would be an option with the moon roof open. We haven't had a chance to install one of these yet, but I can say they sit a lit close to the roof.
