Question:
I own a 2022 Rockwood Geo Pro G19fbs travel trailer and would like to know if the following items will be compatible with her. The first on is this faucet: Empire Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull-Down Spout - Single Lever Handle - Matte Black Part Number: EM34JR And, the second item is this breakaway cable: Fastway Zip Coiled Trailer Breakaway Cable w/ Plunger Pin - 6 Long Part Number: FA80-01-2206 I am not having any issues with the breakaway cable currently on my trailer except that it is too long and either tangles or almost drags the pavement. And, I think 6 foot would be the best length. And, I have hated the current faucet in the trailer long enough ad decided to do something about it. Thank you for your help with these questions. Janice

Hey Janice,
To start with the faucet. Rv faucets are like residential faucets, the actual connections are standard size so almost any faucet can be replaceable. What you will want to double check is the base size of your current faucet. I am not sure what originally came in the trailer to know what the size it. The Empire Faucet # EM34JR has a 9-5/8" x 2-3/8" base. I recommend double checking to make sure that is big enough to cover the hole in the counter that your original sits in. If it is then it will be a great replacement for you.
The breakaway cable is much easier as most of these are universal. As long as you currently have the pin-style breakaway cable, the Fastway # FA80-01-2206 is going to be a direct replacement and give you that shorter length that you are wanting.
Let me know some dimensions of your current faucet and I can take a look and see if there is a better fit one for you.

Hey Janice, How did the installation of the Empire Faucet and the Fastway breakaway cable go? I'm curious to know if they fit well and solved the issues you were having, as it could help others in similar situations.
