Mounting Bulldog Winch Custom-Fit Steel Winch Mount on 2024 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe

Question:

Looking at winch mount BDW15190 for a 2024 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe. at least one review says this worked great for them. I wantched the install video and there is one point i have question on that was not shown. When sliding the front bumper back on there are the ears that are along side the tube. The 2 bolts that secure the tubes on each side have a nut welded on the other side. How would i get the extra width of the mounting plate ears to go past the nuts and then also get the nuts back lined up with the bolt holes? Thanks

Hi Scott; can you send me a picture of what you're referring to? What we have on the 2024 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe is pretty much limited to our installation video so I'm not entirely sure what part you're talking about. If it is something specifically on the 2024 and not on the 2016 - 2020 models the # BDW15190 is designed to fit it may require modification. I know we have two reviews where customers successfully installed it on the 2024 model but it sounds like both required modification and coming up with their own instructions to get it on there.

Hi Scott, did you find a way to modify the winch mount to fit your 2024 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe? I'm asking because your experience could really help others who are looking to install this on their vehicle.
