What happens if I shorten the handle on my Reese 16K fifth wheel hitch? Will it prevent it from locking the jaws? Have a Reese 30047 and sidewinder. Thank you.

Hey Marc, if you were to shorten the handle on your Reese fifth wheel hitch part # RP30047 it would still function like normal but it might be harder to reach. Do you have limited room in your truck bed?
