Hey Jeff, thanks for the picture. There's a locking tab on the top of the mounting plate behind your 900-0143-LPM detector. If you push it down you can slide the detector up and then you'll need to remove the two mounting screws to get the entire assembly off the wall.

To replace it, I recommend the RV Propane Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector item # RS34FR in white or item # RS54FR in black. It measures 4-1/4" long x 2-5/8" wide x 1/2" thick so it won't stick out nearly as much. It comes with two mounting brackets as well to cover the hole you currently have. They measure 7-1/4" long x 3-3/8" wide and the smaller bracket is 5-3/4" long x 4-1/4" wide.

What kind of trailer or RV do you have?

Hey Jeff, did you have a chance to remove your old CO2 detector and try out the new RV Propane Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others looking to replace their detectors.
