Question:
I have a 2013 Ford E-350 XLT extended van with a 5.4l V8 engine. I will be towing a 5x8foot trailer. I would like to have a Derale D4012 Transmission Cooler installed, but can a single or double fan be installed with this Transmission Cooler?

Hi Ron; I'm sure you can add a fan to the Derale # D54012 but we don't have anything specifically made for this cooler. For a similar transmission cooler with a fan you could use the Derale Hyper-Cool Extreme # D15875. This is also a 40-row, stacked-plate cooler with an 800-CFM reversible tornado fan.

Robin, thanks for the recommendation of the cooler with the fan. But what location should the trans cooler be installed? Some info say before the radiator, some say the cooler should be placed after the radiator?
