Recommended Front Hitch for a 2016 GMC Canyon

Question:

Is there a class 4 or 5 front end reciever for a 2016 GMC 4X4 /4 door/SLT / 3.6 ? All of the Classs 3s hold a 500 Lb verticl load and Im looking for somthing that could handle more, like anything from 500 to 1,000 lbs. I guess that wouls be tongue weight also. Thank you !

Sorry Blair. All of the front hitches for a 2016 GMC Canyon top out at 500 lbs in capacity. They don't do class's with the front hitches. The capacities of them are based on what your truck's rated to handle.

The Draw-Tite item # 65071 is going to be the best option though. This hitch is custom fit and includes all hardware necessary to get it installed. The 2" receiver is going to stick out right below your license plate bracket as shown in the picture below.
