Is HDMI Port on Back of Jensen RV Stereo part# JWM20 Only for Output

Question:
Jensen JWM20 My question is in regards to the Front HDMI input for pass through to HDMI output. Understanding that the HDMI pass thru plays HDMI audio input over speaker and low level outputs. If I connect a HDMI cable from the Television to the rear/back HDMI port on the Jensen JWM20 will this configuration allow audio input over the JWM20 speakers. Is this pass through one way, being front access input and rear output only?

Hey Daniel, the HDMI port on the backside of the Jensen RV stereo part # JWM20 that you referenced is output only and on the front side is the input HDMI. I wish HDMI could work in either direction but that is not the case.

I will post a review once it is installed in a new build. I needed to have all the equipment before J started construction. I anticipate having it installed by June 2026.
