Looking for Replacement Jack for TA-07-XStar
Updated 04/07/2025 | Published 04/06/2025 >
Question:
Hello, I have a 2007 MasterCraft XStar boat on a TA-07-XStar original trailer. The wheeled trailer jack broke last fall, and I would like to repair or replace it. I think the gears inside broke, it went crunch and stopped raising and lowering. Actually, it only went down and would not crank up again. Can you give me some advice on options and a recommendation? I would like to be able to push the boat around on the wheeled trailer jack in my garage to tuck the boat away for winter - so looking for a sturdy solution. Thanks! w.

Hey Woody, sorry to hear about your jack. Yeah it sounds like the gear/screw got destroyed somehow.
How is your current jack held onto your trailer frame? Is it a bolt on or a weld on with a pipe mount by chance? Do you see a brand or could you email me back with a picture? That would be easiest way to come up with best option to replace what you have.
