Will The Inno Quick Base Roof Bike Rack Work With A Bike That Has Fenders?

Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. Hard to say without seeing your bikes, but the Inno Quick Base Roof Bike Rack # IN96MR can work with certain bikes with fenders. It really just depends how far the fender extends. The upright arms do attach to the wheel, so we would just want to be sure the fenders on your bike do not extend so far out that they make contact with the upright arms. If you tell me the make and model of your bikes, I should be able to take a look and tell you more accurately if this rack will work for you. Let me know and I am happy to look into it.

The bike in question is an Aventon Pace.

@MarkR So the pictures I am seeing online of the Aventon pace 500 with the fender kit show a smaller front fender, but the rear fender/rack would be a problem. It extends way too far down the wheel and it would get in the way of the upright arm of the bike rack. It is going to be tough to carry that kind of bike on your roof considering the weight and frame style. A hitch mounted bike rack would be a much better option. Let me know if that is something you want to look into.
