No, it can not but I have a solution for you. Our only option for installing a set of 5th wheel hitch rails on a 2001 Ford Cab and Chassis is to install the Reese Universal Base Rails item # RP30035. This set up requires a 1/2" steel plate, which must be welded to brackets that are bolted to the truck frame.
The Custom Installation Kit for Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch item # C61301 is designed for 2011 Silverado's.
