Hello Terry,
The Kat's Heaters Handi-Heat Magnetic Heater w/ Thermostat - 120V - 3-5/8" x 2-1/4" - CSA # KH1155 is a great option for preventing your inboard boat motor from freezing. It’s designed with a built-in thermostat that automatically shuts off when engine or motor reaches 275 F, so you don’t have to worry about overheating. For the best freeze protection, attach the heater to a flat, smooth metal surface like the engine block or oil pan.
What kind of boat motor are you planning on installing this in?
