What are the Measurement for the Clamps from Left to Right on the Yakima 3 Person Tent?

Question:

Hello, can you answer the mounting requirements left to right for this tent? They are posted for the front cross bar to rear cross bar, but not across one crossbar.

Hello Mike,

We didn't have a tent set up here at etrailer, so I had to reach out to Yakima for the measurements you requested.

The Yakima Tan and Red SkyRise HD tent you were looking at is no longer active, we do have the Yakima SkyRise HD Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars - 3 Person - 400 lbs - Olive # Y92QD. If you were to set-up the tent to deploy from the side the distance between the clamps on the bar is 24" center to center and from outside to outside is 26.5".

They did not have the tent set up going deploying from the back but the clamps will be further apart, Yakima says they approximately 30" from clamp to clamp.

I attached some images with these measurements, and a review video for you to check out that my buddy Ed put together.

What are you your thoughts, do those measurements work for you?
