No, I am sorry Dan the Roadmaster item # 3164-3 will not fit the SLE model of the 2011 GMC Canyon but I have a set that will. Instead you'll want the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit item # 3122-1. I have linked an installation video below that will show you how to get this baseplate installed.

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plates item # e44ZR

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Supplemental Braking System - Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System item # BLU37TR

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
