Question:
This kit C56149 Does it include instructions on where I access the connection points in my car and are they all in the trunk? Ive never done this before where will I hook the ground? The way it was explained Im assuming I keep this connector in my trunk and pull it out when I need to use a hitch? Just making sure. Thanks in advance

Hey Matt. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56149 does indeed come with installation instructions. I have linked them below as well. The wiring harnesses you are looking for are located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side interior trim panels in your rear cargo area. Right behind the tail lights essentially.
As far as a ground goes. You can look around for a bolt and clean off the paint around it and attach it to that. Or you can drill a hole, clean the paint off, and then use a self tapping screw like item # FA1131822 and make your own.
I would just like to confirm that the Curt Wiring Harness item # C56149 has been custom fit for the 2016 Hyundai Accent sedan models only. If you have the hatchback you'll need item # C56254.
What are you looking to use this wiring harness for?
Here are some other parts you'll need if you are planning on pulling a trailer:
Trailer Hitch - Curt item # C11250
Ball Mount - etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball item # e47DR

Hey Matt, how did things go with the Curt wiring harness for your Accent? Did the connection points behind the trim panels line up the way you expected? Your update could make it easier for others tackling their first wiring setup.
