I have this bike rack 9026xt I want to attach it to a Mini ELECTRIC. Can this be done?

Hey Brian, so hanging bike racks can't really carry e-bikes since they are heavier and they have alternative frame styles. So your best option is a platform e-bike carrier like the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 which was specifically designed for carrying e-bikes. It has a ramp system built in even to make loading and unloading easier.

I think you misunderstood my question. The *car* is electric, not the bikes. With an electric car, the batteries are stored in a specific location and I don't understand if that interferes with bolting/welding on a square receiver for the bike rack.
