Hi,

As Long as your 4Runner's factory crossbars are 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall or smaller the Thule SnowPack Extender Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH7325 would be a fit. You'll want to verify the weight capacity of the roof rack and ensure you don't overload it, these carriers for example weigh 11lbs. Factory crossbars tend to have lower capacities than aftermarket options so it's always good to check.

Hey, how did the Thule SnowPack Extender end up working with your 4Runner’s factory crossbars? It’d be great to know if the fit and weight capacity checked out. Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.

@JonG Works well.no issues at all for fit and compatibility. Did run Into an issue with the item itself where the hinges started to cause problems and also the sliding and latch to close got finiky within 3 weeks of use. It was at tail end of season so will know what happens this season especially since I have cleaned and lubricated everything again. If issues continue then it's a problem for such an expensive item to go bad so fast.

@Sv Oh, absolutely. These do have a limited lifetime warranty so if they stop working like they should and you've been taking care of them (like it sounds like you're doing) it would at least be worth reaching out to Thule to get their take and see if warranty is an option.
