Question:
Hi, I own a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander, interested in installing a bike carrier on a tow hook. I noticed that the tow hook shown in this video is not like a ball tow hook that ends in a round ball with a diameter of 50 mm. I am interested in a tow hook only for bike carriers and not for towing. I would like to ask about the tow hook shown in the video and where can I purchase it?

Hey Bhaa, thanks for reaching out!
The parts used in the linked bike rack video for a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander are the Curt Hitch # C87WR and the Thule Epos Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH99XE. This bike rack installs directly into the hitch receiver as opposed to a hitch ball like you're referring to.
We used to have a 50mm hitch ball that worked with a Thule bike rack, but that was discontinued a few years ago and it was the only 50mm hitch ball with a "neck" that was tall enough to accommodate the bike rack connection.
I personally like the hitch receiver bike rack connections better than the ones that mount to the hitch ball just because the rack is secured to a square piece instead of round.
If you want a 50mm hitch ball system, then you'll need to order one online that you're able to confirm will fit with a bike rack.
I'm attaching some videos as well as a photo of the setup you asked about for your reference.

Hey Bhaa, how did things go with the Curt hitch and Thule Epos bike rack setup on your Outlander? Did the hitch receiver style work better for your bike carrier needs? Your update could make it easier for others looking at the same setup.
