Hello, i have a 38 foot Octane enclosed 5th that has a 16,000 GVRW. it has a Lippert 1621 pin box. It looks like doing the math i should have a 4.5 TW. can you confirm. thanks

Yes, the correct weight-class of Gen-Y Adapter Pin Box for your 16K GVWR Octane is one that has the 4.5K pin weight. For your application you need the part # GY38FR.
Since you're switching over to a gooseneck hookup you'll also need to pick up the Safety Chain Kit # GY49GR to keep your trailer safe and legal.
