I have a drawtite super slider 2900 and 1983 f250 hd short wood flatbed . What mounting brackets do I need? Thank you

Hello Stephanie.
Wow, great Truck! They definitely do not build them like the used to! We do not have any custom brackets for the 1983 but you can use the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 10 Bolt # RP30035, if you already have rails you can just get # RP30439. Since it is a universal fit, it will require drilling for installation, but it will get the job done. Because it is an older truck, I would lay out the pieces first to make sure that nothing is in the way for installation before you start drilling. If the flatbed has been modified at all, things could be in the way and it could require some modification.
