Hi Graham,
That's going to depend on the model of the air spring. The air line for the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs # AL60818 you were looking at just slips over the fitting on the springs and has squeeze-style hose clamps to keep it from popping off. On some other models the fittings have little push connectors that require you to push in on them first to get the teeth inside the fitting to release and then you can pull the line out. What kit do you currently have?

Hi Kevin, The air line simply pushes into the airbag, no clamps. Cheers, Graham.
