While the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2525 for your 2013 Ford F-150 are not designed to raise the ride height of your bed we do often see some additional height from time to time as the factory suspension will typically sag over time especially on a 11 year old truck.

The Compressor Kit # F29VV will allow you to easily adjust the air pressure inside the springs from either the included remote or your smart phone using the Ride-Rite app.

Hey, how did the Firestone Ride-Rite air springs work out on your F-150? Did you notice any change in ride height when the system isn’t in use? Your feedback could help others looking to level out their older trucks.

@BudM It didn’t change the ride height. I inflated the air bags to the recommended 5lbs. The airbags are a huge improvement when towing my travel trailer. I can get the truck level and the ride is more comfortable. When I haul something heavy in the bed I can level the truck. I should have installed these sooner.

@JohnH That’s great to hear, John. Sounds like the airbags made a real difference for both towing and hauling. Keeping the truck level and smoothing out the ride is exactly what that setup is meant to do. Thanks for sharing your experience - it’ll help a lot of folks considering the same upgrade.
