Recommended RV Storage Cover For A 2020 Homesteader Intrepid V-Nose Enclosed Trailer

Updated 12/22/2025 | Published 10/27/2024

Question:

Hi - I bought a Homesteader Intrepid trailer in 2020. Overall length is 14foot 4inch and overall width is 76. It has a side door. Id like to keep it covered for the winter. What is your recommended cover for this trailer, and do you sell this cover? Thanks! H F Harrison

Hi Fiona,

The covers that we offer aren't really designed for a V-nose enclosed trailer but you should be able to use the Adco Olefin HD RV Cover - All Climate + Wind - Gray # AD57ZR to cover your 2020 Homesteader Intrepid. It's designed for use in all climates and can fit trailers up to 15' in length. The cover is 15' 2" long x 8' wide x 7' 6" tall so the only measurement that could potentially come up short might be the height.

The included straps at the front of the trailer and below the trailer can help snug down the fabric and prevent the wind from grabbing the cover and potentially damaging it. This cover also comes with zippered panels on the passenger side so that you can still access the trailer with the cover installed.

Hey Fiona, how did the Adco Olefin HD cover work out for your Homesteader Intrepid over the winter? It sounds like the fit might have been close on height, so I’m curious how it held up in windy conditions. Your feedback could help others with similar trailers.
