Can I Install The Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch DM8550038 With A Liner In The Bed?

Question:
I have a 2020 ford F350 platinum with a 21,000 lb tow rating and OEM puck system. Can I install the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Ford Super Duty Prep Package - 21K on top of a liner in the bed?

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. I see you already ordered your Demco Autoslide # DM8550038 but I still wanted to address your question.
The autoslide hitch your ordered is for the Ford OEM puck system. I would assume that when your liner was installed, the pucks were taped off as to not be covered by the liner. As long as the pucks are not covered, the # DM8550038 can be installed normally. If the pucks are covered the liner will need to be cut away in those spots.

Hey Mike, how did the install of your Demco Autoslide hitch go with the bed liner in place? Were the pucks clear enough for it to mount without trimming? Your update could make it easier for others setting up the same Ford puck system.
