recommendation for a hand boat trailer winch with strap and hook for pulling a 21 foot 5,000 lb cuddy cabin boat up a steep boat ramp, currently have a mfg. shelly winch with a cable 2800 lb that is no longer in business. Not interested in cable. Thanks.

I recommend the 3.2K Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed, 2-Speed Trailer Winch # FW32000101 because it was specifically designed around boat trailers and it has an enclosed design which helps with durability as well as the looks.

If you want something a little more bare-bones then my recommendation is the 3.2K 2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch # 315-W3200D which has the standard open design.

Both options come with a 20' strap and are rated higher than what you currently have so you can be confident they will be able to handle your boat weight.
