I am purchasing a 5th wheel with a mor-ryde pin box. I have a gooseneck ball installed in my 2019 RAM standard bed 3500 SWD. I saw a reply that the mor-ryde is compatible with the convert-a-ball CAB-C5G but will it work with: Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset - 12inch to 16inch Tall Part Number: CAB-C5GX1216

Hello Phillip, thanks for getting in touch. The Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset # CAB-C5GX1216, but there are a few exclusions to keep in mind.
The Convert-A-Ball adapter will not work with a sidewinder pin box. It is also not compatible with any cushioned or air ride pin boxes.
The adapter will not work with a gooseneck ball that installs into an OEM prep package, specifically a ball that has a locking lever integrated into the ball. The adapter will destroy the locking lever.
Please make sure none of these exclusions apply to you and you will be good to go.

From what I can tell all the MORryde Pin Box's are cushioned. I am a bit confused now. I am just trying to see if I need to have the dealer replace that pin box with another one. If I can use the MORryde Pin Box and the convert a ball CAB-C5GX1216 together that is just easier, but i am just trying to make sure before I purchase.
