Placement of Slotted Washers on Blue Ox 1740 Base Plate Kit

Where do the flat slotted washers go for the blue ox 1740 confused

Hello Carmen; the 1/2" bolt, lock washer, thick washer, and slotted washer are inserted into the bottom of the baseplate. I'm sure you saw this step in the # BX1740 instructions. Each side of the actual baseplate has a hole towards the rear on the bottom, which is where this goes. If you look at the diagram below from the instructions you can see parts 5, 20, 18, and 9 going into this hole. That is what step 16 from the instructions is referencing.
