Hello Rob. The hubs and brakes on the # e65SR can be used on a boat trailer. That said, it is no secret that electricity and water do not mix, so generally, surge brakes are recommended for boat trailers. Electric brakes can still be used, just make sure you unplug the trailer before you submerge it. If you are in salt water, it will help a lot to rinse the hubs and stuff with fresh water to help slow the corrosion.
