Solution for Empire Faucet that Leaks
Updated 01/19/2026 | Published 08/13/2024 >
Question:
I have this 2015 faucet and it has no set screw to remove the handle. Water runs normal for a few seconds then goes to a trickle, does it need new cartridge. Do you have instructions for removing this handle and replacing the cartridge. Water in rest of mobile home has good pressure.

Hey Shelby, yeah a trickling faucet like that does sound like a bad cartridge but we actually don't have replacements for the Empire brand of faucets. What that means is best option we have would be to replace the part # EM43HR or maybe you could remove the cartridges and take them to a local hardware store and see if they can get replacements. We don't have removal instructions though.

Hey Shelby, were you able to find a replacement cartridge for your Empire faucet or end up swapping it out for the new shower valve? Knowing what worked could help others with the same faucet issue.
