Hello Dana,
The Aries Nerf Bars # AA204004 will fit a 2000 Chevy Suburban 1500 and not a 2500 because the Aries bars attach to mounts on the 1500 that aren't on the 2500. So they won't fit a 2500, and there aren't nerf bars that do fit the 2000 Chevy Suburban 2500, but you can use Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards # 27-6145-1035 which perform the same function as a step, just a different style.

Hey Dana, how did the Westin Sure-Grip running boards work out on your Suburban 2500? It’d be great to know if they gave you the step-up you were looking for. Your update could make it easier for others comparing options for the 2500 model.
