Is There Lighterweight Tonneau Cover that Fits 2024 GMC Canyon 5 ft Bed

what is the weight of the entire cover i had one that i return because it weight at 56lb! Heavy it was made from frp material and made my rear of my truck feel weighted down and heavy and made bumps more pronounce.

Hey Anthony, the weight of the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK78AV that you referenced is 71 lbs. Basically all of the retractable and hard tonneaus are going to weight more since there is a lot of components involved. I'm actually impressed you could feel 50 lbs in the bed of your truck. Most of the time it takes at least a couple hundred lbs back there to notice anything.
To get something lighter you'd need the Access LiteRider part # A92FA which is a roll up that is 31 lbs.
