Hey Charles,
If you're wanting to go with Blue Ox components for your flat tow setup then I have the following recommendations:
Baseplate: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU53FR.
Tow Bar: Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380. This will also include your safety cables.
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: We no longer offer the Blue Ox wiring harness (BX88368) so I recommend going with the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 unless you have ParkSense Proximity Sensors, in which case you'll need smart diodes # RM63MR instead.
Braking System: Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System # BLU37TR. This system will require a 12v outlet # RM-9332 wired directly to the battery for power while you tow. Since it will be draining your battery I recommend also installing a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to avoid having a dead battery once you reach your destination.
